Three shifts shaped signage rollouts this year. First, fibre uplinks: malls and transport hubs now terminate fibre at the screen, so players with SFP+ cages such as the F24-8L SFP+ remove a media converter from the bill of materials.
Second: more pixels per player
A single player now drives three to four screens. The F25 and K2-F24H-N100 handle quad 4K output without a discrete GPU, which keeps the enclosure fanless and the maintenance window short.
Third: remote recovery
Watchdog timers, auto power-on after power loss and out-of-band management are now written into tenders. Ask for them before the pilot, not after the first site failure.
